Guess it's at least 10 years younger than I was told. Looks pretty similar to what Phil is saying about 1939 - 1949. I acquired, with some other items, that the original owner "got in the late 30s", at least that's the info I had.

So 2 questions if I may:

But why wouldn't that potentially be "in the 1930s" if it could have been produced in 1939?

And

If Eubanks is an auto upholsterer in 1940, why is that "a far cry " from a holster maker? Both would be working in leather presumably. Many holster makers get started while they're employed in "their main job ". Is it that Eubanks itself, and their markings, didn't begin till 1950?

Please advise.
