300 Blackout uses the same bolt and bolt carrier group as 5.56, as well as the same magazines, just change out the barrel or have a new barreled upper. I mark all of my 300 Blackout mags, since trying to shoot 300 in a 5.56 barrel leads to "interesting" results that you don't want to experience.
