I'd agree with the others on value. What is the SN, do you know? It would help date the gun, although, it is a pinned and recessed gun, so that puts it prior to 1982; it also has the small ampersand between Smith--Wesson, and that one appeared around 1975-76 when the "lazy" one was replaced, so yours is somewhere between about 1975-1982.
