To each their own. I pocket carry the LCP Max in a pocket holster and feel confident that it is not going to fire unless I intentionally pull the trigger. Technically, the hammer is not at full cock either. When I pull the trigger, the hammer does move back before dropping. It is also drop safe, as there is a catch that will stop the hammer if it slips from the sear without the trigger being pulled.
