"wundudnee" featured the Winchester Model 47 .22 single shot rifle here. This is probably one of the least known Winny single shots.

It was basically a single shot variant of the Winchester Model 69A, and featured an automatic engagement of the manual safety between shots as an extra precaution for younger shooters. These rifles were made only from 1948 to 1954. None were serial numbered and all had chromed bolts, bolt handles, safety levers and triggers.

Here is mine; I estimate that it was manufactured circa 1954.
