While it wasn't my first .22 rifle, my parents bought both my brother and I a pair of the Sears Roebuck house brand Winchester 190s for Christmas one year in the mid-1960s. I think Sears had them on sale at the time. Jam-a-Matic is right. I couldn't go through a magazine without having at least one malfunction, often more. I have no idea what happened to mine, same for my brother's 190. Maybe lost in moves, maybe stolen. I do not remember selling or giving mine away.
