For reasons lost to history, the foreign market for the 38 Perfected and the 38 Single Action, 3rd Model (1891) revolvers were very strong. Notes collected from Roy Jinks, Jim Supica, and others indicate that large amounts of these two models went to the European and South American export market.

A search of completed auctions on Gunbroker shows only three sold in the last two months. Two sold and one did not. The ones that sold were a blued example that sold for $850 and a second nickel sold for $705 with a missing cylinder latch. The third gun did not sell because the seller had it listed for $5995. There are two active listings for this model as well.
