Default Fun Faux Pre-war Kit Gun

Thought I'd post this as something fun that came from a basket case. About 5 years ago I happen unto 22/32 HFT that was a mess, bulged barrel, way out time, worn and tired. I got it cheap and decided to put my old armorer skills to work. Pulled the barrel and found and fitted a prewar pattern kit gun barrel from Poppert's. Changed hand and locking bolt and got things aligned and in time. Found a set of period grips, a little cold blue and steel wool and a faux kit gun! Cylinder isn't recessed so I stick with standard velocity ammo. It shoots good and keeps wear and tear off my real one. Anybody else got a fun project that turned junk into something fun and usable?
