I see The CCI Velocitor load strictly as a small game hunting round or as a last resort SD round. I would not use them for general purpose plinking or target shooting. While usually more than accurate enough for hunting and SD, I have found that they are not exactly tack drivers. For their intended purpose the CCI Velocitor is excellent and most will not fire a whole lot of rounds - hence how clean or dirty they are is basically a non issue IMO.
