Nope, I'm not roster exempt. It was PPT of sorts--gift from my mother in Michigan, which is exempt from the roster. But the exemption doesn't carry over to the 12-round magazine.
If I were roster exempt (e.g., law enforcement), you're right: 12-round magazine is exempt, too.
