I have owned many Kimbers over the years and currently have 3 in 45 and one in .357 (K6S CDP) one of the .45s is the same model as yours but in the Pro (4”) configuration.

As others have said, I have never had a problem with any I have owned both pre series II and series II.

I do also recommend purchasing Wilson Magazines for it as the factory magazines are mediocre and should be delegated to range use only in my opinion.
