Upon further review I found that my Brill, shown in post 14 above, only
has one welt, and the tip is sewn to the fender.
So now, I am deducing that it is probably made by Kluge, sometime after
1912 when Brill bought the business.
My photos are not clear enough or I'm sure one of you experts
would have picked up on the single welt.
