I bought an 85% Browning 1911-22 Commander for my grandson. Liked it enough that I bought an 85% 1911-380 Commander for myself. I then bought a Browning 85% .22 Commander slide and slide stop for the .380, making it a convertible. I usually shoot it as a .22.
Build quality is decent. Finish is cruddy - they flake. Will eventually need to be cerakoted. Sights are cruddy. All in all, I like them, like the 85% size, and would do it again.
