My Texas CHL is not acceptable in all other states, just 38 of them at last count...I don't spend money nor time in the other states which don't trust me...As an aside, I just received my new driver's license in the mail, good until 2031...I renewed both this year, all online and they used my old pictures...No standing in line at the DMV, no eye test, no new fingerprints and my credit card magically worked on both online...Life is good...
