The Model 10 has been in production for a long time so dash numbers are important (for me at least) when guesstimating value. And then there is always the possibility that the seller just called it a Model 10 when it is a pre-model number revolver, maybe not even a .38 Special M&P!
For me, the lower the dash number, the higher my interest is.
I can't imagine that any 98% M10 isn't worth $450, if you want it. For my part, if it has the ... uh ... "modern features", no thanks.
