M Squad with Lee Marvin was another good one as was The Untouchables...at least for the first season or two.
I rember M Squad and also The Detectives (?) with Robert Taylor. Neither compared with The Untouchables which survived into modern day far better than many such shows. Little of it had any historical accuracy (a big deal to some who can't enjoy a story as a story) but the episodes were good ones and the incredible list of guest stars was among the best.
