Today's Favorite Firearm; Glock 42

The Glock 42 is the smallest gun that shoots like a full-size gun. In the event I need a gun I want it to be a shooter.
This holster works, even in sweats. It is a Galco.

I have two holsters for the G42; a Bianchi OWB and a Galco pocket holster.

As long as we're talk'n .380 in the pocket, I have no trouble carrying my .380 EZ in my jeans pocket (in a holster, natch).
What's the feeling about the comparison between the two? The Shield ain't the smallest .380, but it's small enough for me, has both a mechanical safety and grip safety; and is easy to manipulate.
How much better can the Glock be? (Full disclosure: after owning three different Glocks, all in 9mm, I concluded we just don't get along and there ain't none in the safe.)

Apples to oranges comparison. Glocks are simple draw and fire weapons. No external or grip safety to fumble with or impede the draw. All Glocks are super tough and durable, and Glock has the best customer service of any company that I know of. Compact and light weight, if you don't want to fire it keep your finger off the trigger. The main purpose of an external safety that must be disengaged before the gun can be fired on a CC pistol would seem to be getting you killed under the extremely stressful situation of an actual SD shootout. If there's one caliber handgun that Glock seems to have figured out it would have to be the 9mm. I would guess that they sell a LOT of 9mms worldwide. So if you don't get along with 9mm Glocks it's not the gun's fault

Before I ever got familiar with Glocks I freaked about the "no safety" thing. Then I got one - and I got all better.

Like you said, keep your finger off the trigger - which is the very first thing we learn about all guns. duh;)

NICE!! If I may and if your carry ammo shoots to the same point, you might want to drift the rear sight ever so slightly to the right. Just a smidge as the better part of your group a a tad left.

I have used a tarp as well when up at my friends house in the woods. Helps in saving as much Brass as possible in his grass. He does find a few missed cases with his mower.
