I’ve always liked to think that if there is an afterlife, there is a small room with bare blank white walls and nothing but a comfortable chair in the middle of the room.

When one reaches the afterlife, they take a seat in this comfortable chair and projected on the walls are images of everything that the person ever wondered about; where did I lose my car keys on that road-trip in 1989? Where did my wife’s cat disappear to? Where was that .22 caliber RM I was chasing? And the answer is projected on to walls and Ed is sitting there going “Damn, I was –this-close to looking in that place!”

I communicated with Ed Cornett a number of times way back when. Always a pleasure to talk to. Hope he’s where the bluing is always %100, the cylinders have no turn lines and the stocks are always factory ivory or minty Cokes.
