Both guns have serial numbers stamped under the grips in the same area just as your gun has.

I'm on my way out to run errands but tonight I'll have the lanyard installation photos up and we can compare. Certainly the s/n stamping style is identical and that alone has made me relax my sphinter (vis a vis 'defaced' s/n).
