Seems to be a common problem with the 940 series.

Popular discussion issue when they were introduced. A cylinder hone was circulating around various members in an attempt to resolve the issue.

I was a participant in that effort. Never fully resolved the issue. Honing helped but was still sticky. Some brands of ammo worse than others.

Pretty sure that’s why the model was discontinued.
