I’ve got an opportunity to buy a Winchester mode 70 safari (Made in New Haven, CRF) I don’t think it’s ever been shot, maybe once or twice. Caliber is 416 Remington. It is topped with a nice Swarovski 1.25-4x24 Habicht scope. Also looks unused.

I can get the package for $1300. I think that’s a great deal, what do you think? I feel like I could sell the scope for several hundred bucks by itself and have a cheap large caliber, safari rifle.

This must’ve been one of the last Model 70s made in New Haven.
