Well, I did take it to the range yesterday and put 55 rounds through it. The ammo I took were reloads I'd put up for use in my Model 29 and were 220 Berry's, over an almost max load of Unique (at least Max in my manual). It was eye opening
. The same load that was a creampuff in the 29, was a handful in the Bulldog. Not unmanagable as you said, but not something I'd want to plink cans with.
