Many years ago, Lock, Stock and Barrel in Nebraska was having a sale on factory second Hornady bullets. They had 300 gr. FMJ .375 which make great plinking and practice loads. Well, accidently clicked the wrong box, was trying to order 500....ended up clicking the 5000 box. Have a lifetime or two worth of bullets now. Paid 10 cents apiece. Today, those same bullets are going for over 10 times that amount. Have shot about 1000 of them so far and notice no difference in accuracy or reliability or durability between those and the "regular non-2nd's" bullets. The only difference I noticed that they were an odd color and the weight was sometimes 2-3 grains off, at least those that I weighed.
