I found a 18-4 in a rather new gunshop in town about two months ago, made a deal and brought it home. When I saw it in a display case at first I thought it was a 38 Combat Masterpiece like I qualified with in USAF OCS. It had a little very mild freckling in a couple of spots, but that burnished off with a hard rod and some oil. Internals were dirty and a couple of rust spots on the trigger spring housing, probably not the correct term for that piece, but it cleaned up, and I got everything else clean and relubed. I also got a set of larger Magma grips to match the ones on my K 22 and K 38, both 6"models. Don't really know if I would want one of the 8 3/8" versions. I did just get a new M 48, 22Mag 6" . My holy grail would be a 6" K 32, but these things are out of sight price wise.
