If you were a little closer to Canada I'd be happy to take you out. Others have suggested medium loads for a .44 mag and that's the way to go. We could be twins by different mothers age wise and the last .44 mag. I bought is a 3" model 29-3. Fun to shoot with these loads and little difference to a .44 Spl.. Proper grips can also make quite a difference.
