I was born and raised in deep southern Illinois and grew up hunting and fishing there. A boy with a .22 or a shotgun going down the street attracted no attention from anyone as it was just normal. Now he’d be seized as a criminal and his parents would be prosecuted. The Chicago machine has worked for decades to destroy the rest of the state. What a shame that is.
