My takeaway is that I don’t work for the post office. If he wasn’t charged criminally, then that tells me I’m good, because I can’t get fired or lose my pension.
Clearly, according to every post here, he was committing a crime. Yet he wasn’t charged, or at least we don’t know if he was charged and you are just focusing on the personnel problem, which could have happened at any office park in America. Well, except for here in flyover country, where if you don’t have a pistol, we’ll give you one . . .

The takeaway is: Don’t trust anyone to know that you carry illegally if the penalty is severe and you would not trust that person with something you are not willing to lose.
