With few exceptions, the only Colt 1911 that interests me is the Series 70 GCNM, that are pre 1983. Interestingly, they recently had a similarly conditioned 1983 Series 80 GCNM with the new 3 hole aluminum trigger, firing pin safety for $1800.
I know the chap that prices the used guns. I don’t say anything, I just smile, fill out the 4473 and say thank you.
