I have just returned from the Southern SXS shoot in North Carolina and managed to accomplish a long time dream of mine, a matched pair of Purdy's
The guns are from 1892 with the rarer forward snap action and all original in the maker's oak and leather case. One gun had a loose forearm and that's being corrected and I'll get it back at the North East SXS shoot the first weekend in June in Pennsylvania. The guns are exact in every way. When I can get pictures of the pair in their case I'll post some pics.
