You guys are being a little hard on jdiii's friend, aren't ya?
We don't know the 'rest of the story'... like if the friend wheels and deals with the old guy all the time, and they do a 'friend price' instead of gouging each other. Used to do that with a couple of old friends back in the 70s and 80s. In the end, no one ever got hurt, nor did they feel like they were being taken advantage of.
Kinda sad when we immediately think the worst without knowing the real story....
