Colt's new line of revolver is far superior to anything they were making 20 years ago. The "new" Anaconda has an improved lock work and is built to handle full-power .44 magnum loads all day long! I LOVE the 8 inch because it extracts all the velocity possible from the .44 cartridge, though it is a bit muzzle heavy!
IMO Colt's clockwise cylinder rotation and their oversized, "pull" cylinder locking system" makes all the difference because Colt revolvers don't need heavy spring to keep the cylinder locked up, and unlatching results in a clean, non-interference cylinder release!
The "new" Colts are far better than anything they built prior to 2015.
