Default AZ's new "Constitutional Carry" law examined & explained.

Alan Korwin provides a thoughtful and insightful examination and explanation of the newly enacted elimination of requirement for CCW permits in AZ:

gunlaws.com click on "Alan's Blog" to get to "Page Nine" No. 84

To read the entire engrossed version of the bill, go to: htt://asrpa-blogspot.com/2010/04/governer-brewer-signs-sb-1108.html

(ignore misspelling of "governor"...) Then click "Read the engrossed version of SB1108 signed by Governor Brewer." I also recommend reading the Governor's press release announcing her signing of the bill...

Eat your hearts out, CA, NY, MA, IL residents --- here in the wild west, we still have some politicians who don't cross their fingers when swearing the oath of office...!!!

Hmm, couldn't locate it - but, then again, I didn't spend a lot of time looking for it. Only got the "home page." Just remember, the law doesn't go into effect until 91 days after the state legislature closes this session (probably not until the end of May, which would make the law effective in early September, or thereabouts). Don't get caught carrying concealed without a permit until then!
