Default Chris Christie signs "anti-crime" Bills

What exactly is an "illegal gun"? Who exactly goes on a "terrorist watch list", the NRA, Tea Party?

Not that it will happen since he got huggy-huggy with the Prez, but remember this if and when he decides to run for the big office. Heck remember this if he runs for Gov again.

Excellent question. With NSA reading our email, listening in on our phone calls reading this forum, the government could put any of us on a terrorist watch list. We would never know it until we try to buy a gun and won't be told why we were denied and have basically no recourse to challenge our placement, since the government will claim the Information is top secret and we will just have to take them at their word since they are so trustworthy.

Everyone has an election day unless someone would try to suspend the Constitution.

Hi, first post here. I would like to point out that it is easy to get on one of these lists, difficult to find if you are on it, and I would imagine nearly impossible to be removed once you have been "flagged". I use the case of the man in Co. that applied for the BB gun dicharge permit. This is a slippery slope and we've gone further down the slope than most would care to admit. This amounts to a secret list of enemies, enemies of the state, and with time the list will be used in varying ways as a tool, whether for good or evil.

Police department targets local resident after applying for a BB gun permit | The Daily Caller

BREAKING: NJ Bans Guns for Residents on FBI Terrorist Watch List | The Truth About Guns

"The TSC [Terrorist Screening Center] cannot reveal whether a particular person is in the TSDB [Terrorist Screening Database]. The TSDB remains an effective tool in the government’s counterterrorism efforts because its contents are not disclosed. If TSC revealed who was in the TSDB, terrorist organizations would be able to circumvent the purpose of the terrorist watchlist by determining in advance which of their members are likely to be questioned or detained."

"Filing a Redress Inquiry

The TSC does not accept redress inquiries directly from the public. Instead, members of the public should contact the relevant screening agency with their questions or concerns about screening. The screening agency is in the best position to identify and resolve issues related to that agency’s screening process."

Since the list is secret it would seem hard to inquire about a redress, one of the few ways to determine your status would be to attempt to buy a gun in NJ. I'm sorry but I will never vote for this man, and wouldn't expect him to do any better than McCain, Romney, Dole, in a presidential race especially if nothing is done about the IRS.

One thing you have to understand about Christie. He is from New Jersey. If he was Ted Cruz he couldn't run for dogcatcher in NJ. He is a Republican in a solid Democratic state. The Republican party is split right now. Half of them want to run "moderates" like McCain and Romney. The tea party wing wants to run someone very conservative. Which half will win out and how long it'll take is anyone's guess.

Right now Christie is not the front runner. When one starts to develop the Democratic spin machine will try and paint him (or her) as the devil incarnate.
