I recently acquired a 6" nickel 27-2. It's a beautiful gun,BUT. The top strap is checkered as it should be. The barrel,however,is ribbed,no checkering. The only other N-frame .357 that I know of is the HP,but the bbl on mine is marked .357. No HP doo-dads. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
