Ladies and Gentlemen, the establishment of this Foundation is probably the most significant event in the history of Smith & Wesson collecting.

Every one of us who enjoys this hobby and wishes to see it perpetuated should join. Join at whatever level that you can and at a level that you can be comfortable with, but join.

If you need a selfish reason to join, just think of the investment in your collection that you now have. How will that collection appreciate over time if future collectors have no access to the historical information that relates to your guns. Without that historical perspective, the pool of future collectors will diminish in time.
