Half moon clipped .45 ACP ammo would NOT fit that converted .45 Colt cylinder. The combined rim and clip thickness overhangs the outer edge of the cylinder, preventing closing, and for the same reason that .45 Auto Rim will not fit. The rims overhange the unmodified edge of the cylinder and prevent closing.
