I have been using Titegroup this last year with the .38 Special. Shooting galary courses in Bullseye competion with the Remington 148 gr. HBWC and 2.7gr. of Titegroup, Remington small pistol primer and Remington brass out of a S&W Mod. 14. I have never noticed anything different from shot to shot and I've been getting great groups with this combo and it's a lot lighter than your 3.5 load. From time to time I also shoot this Titegroup load with a 158 gr. cast SWC in place of the 148 gr. HBWC in competion with the same good results. It's also a lot cleaner than my old 2.7 grains of Bullseye load!
