Gentlemen,

This isn't a exclusive S&W question, but it does fit this category better than the Lounge.

If I get this correct, Mr. Roper rarely made the grips himself, but they are his design. Correct???
I understand the "distinguishing marks" of a "real" Roper...

Steve Herrett and his assistants did make Roper style grips, if I am correct- for a time.

Which brings me to my question...

Is there any distinguishing characteristics of the Herrett Roper?

And, may I ask, are N and I frame Ropers much less common than K-frame or Colt fitment Ropers?

That's all.
I'm trying to trade for another set for what I think fits an I-frame, and this just made me curious about the subject.

Plus, I like Herrett Stocks anyway.
They feel good.

(I cleared up the post a bit.)
