I just got back from Ft Myers Beach. Most days, I just stayed put. However, there were a few times we had to go someplace and the traffic is terrible. The island is 5 or more miles long and has a 2 lane road down the middle. Most of the time it is bumper to bumper.

I was just happy to stay close to the beach.
