Methos just out of curiosity, what are you comparing your 4006s trigger pull to? If this is your first DA/SA trigger group than it will feel alittle heavy right out of the box. I bought my first S&W 3rd Gen, a 5906, back in 93 when I started my LEO career. After nearly 1k rounds at the academy it seemed fine to me. It was also the first and only semi-auto I had ever fired so I had nothing to compare it to. Now I'm forced to carry a Glock 22 and it's a completely different trigger feel, definately lighter for the first shot. I have since had a trigger job done on the 5906 and it made it smooth as glass and lighter also. If you haven't done so yet, I would say put 500-1k rounds through it before you send it off. You will develop the muscle memory for the stock trigger pull and then after a trigger job it will feel like a custom gun. Which in a way it will be. Just my two cents.
