The Empire of New York,,now presided over by 'The Pointed One',,Herr Spitzer...and his trusty sidekick A/G Andy 'The Hair' Cuomo.
Though the fact that this has to be registered has nothing to do with him or his short reign. The nearly 100 y/o Pistol Permit law in NYS (Sullivan Law) does not recognize 'Antique Firearm' (pre 1899 Federal Classification)for handguns in general and therefore all must be reg. There is a small window for 'unloaded muzzle loader, C&B or replicas of same handguns that do not have to registered, but if you own proper components to do so,,then if must be registered.

Currently a bill in the state senate to close that 'loop hole' and put ALL antique guns...Both long guns and that small group of handguns into the same status as modern guns for the purposes of transfer..ie; 4473,,NICS, & registration for the handguns. NJ already has such restrictions. Hillary would like that for the whole country I'm sure to make the Village safer.
