You mean minted since 1969. That's when the 40% silver clad halves
for circulation were discontinued in favor of the cupro-nickel ones. The 1970 half doesn't count because it wasn't minted for circulation- only for mint sets, as well as the late (started in 1992) proof 90% silver dimes, quarters and halves for sets.
At current prices, those old 40% silver halves (1965-1969) have a melt value @ $2.25. ( 0.1479 troy oz. of silver @$15.15 per troy oz.)
Which is better than a spit in the eye.
I'd rather have pre-64's, but I won't turn down clad halves for fifty-cents each.
