I don't have much use for this and have been told it is worth between $450 and $700, so I will put it out here for sale.
It is a Smith & Wesson grip adapter for the N frame revolver. It was designed to be mounted under "pre-war" grips and had the effect of thickening the grip profile and filling in behind the trigger guard. It appears to have been made in the early 1930's. It has been mounted to a gun, and there are signs that it has been filed or ground to match the profile of that revolver.
I am offering it here for $600 OBO. The only trade I would be interested in would be a 4" S&W .22rf revolver with target sights, $$ up or down depending on model and condition. I am an Indiana resident with a C&R. Payment to be Postal Money Order or Paypal if you pay the fees. I will pay USPS 3 day Priority mail shipping, sales only in the continental US. Insurance extra at your cost if you desire. Unconditional "I will take it" in the thread buys it. Questions welcome, but they will not hold it for you. Non-paying buyers will receive bad headaches and flu symptoms for months....
I hope the pictures and links work!
