I’ve put together another assortment of hand crafted custom made pens. These are all listed below what they normally sell for just for forum members and the shipping is free. Most of them are exotic or some type of burl wood.
I have (1) Shotgun pen listed and it’s $42.00 The pen body is beautiful Amboyna Burl. My picture just doesn’t do this pen justice.
1st row – Are all 30Cal cartridge pens and sell for $26.00 ea.
2nd row – All $35.00 ea.
3rd row – All $35.00 ea.
The price of all pens includes FREE shipping with a plastic sleeve or tube in a padded envelope. Insurance is optional for an additional cost. In the rare event there is a malfunction with the pen I will repair or replace it for a like item if needed. The sale of these pens is limited to the Cont. U.S. only at this time. Sorry. I have a limited number of deer head & rifle clips in chrome and 24k gold plate for the 30Cal pens that I can swap out if you’re interested for an additional $4.00. The bullet tip can also be swapped out for a Rose Gold color for the same price. A couple already have the rose gold tip.

I turn these one at a time so they truly are “one of a kind” and NO one will have one exactly like it. If someone picks a pen you liked I can try to duplicate it with the same material but keep in mind it won’t look exactly the same. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve tied a fly and this vise has just been sitting (covered up of course). It’s a Dyna-King Barracuda. I bought it brand new but I’ve got two other vises so this one needs a home that can appreciate its craftsmanship. If you want a top of the line vise, here it is, a true rotary vise. It is lightly used, (I don’t know how you could abuse one) but this one was very well taken care of. I know there are a few tiers here so I thought I’d offer it here before it goes to Ebay. I hate to let it go but I’ve got too many hobbies and my eyes aren’t what they used to be. I’ve also got tons of material and what I don’t transform into pens (if I can) I’ll sell too. Right now there’s too much “stuff” so I’ll start with the vise and take it from there. It will be shipped in the original box with all of the literature and a VHS describing its features and use. *Also included is a hook centering device which is shown in the picture laying on the base.

I’d like to get $295.00 Shipped, trade value will be higher. A brand new one is almost $100 more +tax. Lower 48 only at this time, sorry. It’s a heavy vise so considering the shipping that’s a pretty good buy! This is in essence brand new. An “I’ll take it” here followed by a PM would be best. Row 2 #10 is some kind of hard laminated fiber I got years ago with the intentions of making grip panels out of. Problem is I forgot what it's called. I won't be making any more pens out of it. It was too hard to turn.

Row 3 #7 is Paper Birch. It looks a lot like ivory.

If Row 2 pen 10 is still available, I'll take it. To me it looks like canvas micarta...IMHO.

Yes, Also corn cob, pine cone, corian, cast snake skin, various wood, etc...Generally if I can put it in my lathe I can turn it. There are some limitations however and the price varies depending on the material. Just keep in mind it will still be a one of a kind.
If there is something in particular you would like feel free to PM or email me. I'll gladly see what I can do and the possibilities are almost limitless. I would rather turn a pen a customer wants then to turn them hoping someone wants it.

Here's one made from white tail deer antler. Fortunately some of the bark was left so I positioned it to show it off. It's a 30cal chrome click I made from part of an antler from a buck I harvested years ago. More often than not all of the bark gets turned off because of the size.

Just wanted to say that photos do not do these pens justice! I have received multiple compliments from co-workers. I have a small collection of turned wooden pens I've picked up over the years... this one is top notch! Very nice work. I'll be picking up more for gifts later in the season...

I've had a few people ask me if I can swap out certain blanks for gold instead of chrome in the 30cal cartridge pens. Unfortunately the click style pen can't be disassembled without destroying the internal click mechanism. What I may do for the benefit of the members here is make the pen bodies and show them as is. That way someone can decide which blank they want and then match it to the color component they want. ie; gold, chrome or gun metal. This would only apply to the 30cal cartridge pens whether it's a click or twist.

If you make more I would like one with Micarta and bead blast looking silver finish. Would prefer maybe black or green Micarta, I have lots of this material if you need it.

What kind of ink cart do they use?

Depends on the style of pen. Some use Parker Rollerball or Ball point and others use Cross style. The refills can be bought just about anywhere pens are sold.
