I'm going to built at least one Mk lV this weekend. Also have obtained a Beretta 92 to check to see if it will fit both.
Checked it out on the Beretta 92. Worked just fine. Will get some pics up later.

After this weekend I will be working at my "other" job straight through until mid December. If anyone wants anything in the next couple of weeks you need to order today or tomorrow.

If anyone wants a pusher before 2013, please get your order to me by Wednesday evening. I will build whatever is ordered on Thursday and ship late Thurs or early Friday. After that, next ship date will be about Jan 4/5. That other pesky job is interfering with my hobby again.
Merry Christmas. To hell with political correctness.

I'm actively soliciting orders once again. Already have a few folks who have reserved spots for next week's production. If you have been holding off on ordering, now's the time.
Thanks for your support this year. Hope everyone will enjoy health, peace, and prosperity in the coming year.

Price adjustment
Price adjustment
Well, here's the dreaded New Years price increase. I got hit with a major increase by my metal supplier. To the tune of about 60%. He claims he had been under charging me for forever. They are the only game in town that will cut the material to rough size for me. I could invest in a saw and cut it myself but hobby grade band saws will rarely cut a straight line. Not to mention the time it would take. Sort of stuck with them. Anyway here's the new pricing:
Mk ll $60
Mk lll $75
Mk lV $85
Now, I am also offering an across the board $5 cash discount. I am trying to get away from PayPal for a number of reasons. I will still accept pp, but it will save you $5 to drop a check in the mail. Personal checks are fine. ( so long as they clear)
Thanks to all for your support in the past. Hope everyone has a great new year.
Ed Jennings

Hi, Bill. You need a Mk lll. The Mk lV works with the older Smiths with slide mounted safeties. PM me if interested.

There are a couple of significant changes to the Mk lll. First the pusher screw is now hollow and has a ball bearing that the pusher pin rides on. The pin does not rotate. This is easier on he sights and also the screw doesn't try to walk in the direction of rotation. Both big pluses. Also the aluminum spacers on the left side have been deleted. They are no longer necessary. There are less parts to deal with when setting up. Another plus. I'll get pics up soon. All tools shipped after Feb 1 have these upgrades.

Anyone use either the II or III on a (gasp) Glock? Appears it would work. I want one and just want to confirm the Glock functionality.
Great looking product (BTW, the 'course' threads do work better in pushers).. thanks

Does the Mk IV have the new pusher. Which model will work on the widest variety of slides? I manufacture this rear sight Sight Mount Home and often need to remove various rear sights from Beretta, XD, MP, FN and Glock slides

The Mk lll is by far the most universal. The Mk lV is model specific to the Beretta 92/96 and certain S&W models. Any Mk lV models produced afte Feb 1 will have the new style pusher screw.

The Mk lV will probably work at least ok on some other models. The thing is that you give up a lot of the gripping surface for the convenience of not removing the safety levers. Any sight pusher is no better than its ability to securely grip the slide.

Thanks to another forum member who has access to some commercial equipment set up to drill screws, I now have a good supply of the new style jackscrews. My local supplier has ordered bulk quantities of the various dowel pins and as soon as they are available I will be offering upgrade kits. Perhaps as early as next weekend. I'll have to see what the final cost on the pins is, but I can probably do these kits for around $10 shipped.
