Going through some downsizing at the Cubrock hacienda and am clearing out the box o' stocks. Have found a bunch of stuff I forgot I had. Shipping will be the cheapest Priority Mail Flat rate box. Insurance is extra. Paypal is okay as long as buyer pays the fees (please, no Paypal gift). These are posted here only for now. If that changes, I will update the ad. I understand some people's desire for privacy, so first time-stamped PM, post, or email with an unequivocal "I'll take it" will get the item. Prices are firm. If they sit a while, I'll consider dropping them later. Thanks for looking!
1.
SOLD PF....K-frame original Ropers. Bought these to put on my 1949 K22 (Skeeter had Ropers on his K22!) but just can't bring myself to carry the gun with these stocks. Nice condition with some scattered marks, wear, and light dings/compressions. Right-hand palm swell. Feel fantastic in the hand. $450
2.
SOLD PF.... N-frame early Herrett's. Square butt, of course. Have a subdued "Coke bottle" silhouette and feel very nice. Show some light wear and minor marks, but are nice using stocks. $125
3.
SOLD PF....N-round factory combat stocks. Refinished with a repaired hairline crack in the top portion of the left panel. Great for using without paying the high tariff for a perfect set. $75
4.
SOLD PF...K-square factory combat stocks. Lots of little marks that would easily refinish out, but a solid using pair of stocks. The vast majority of the marks are in the finish only, not the wood. $85
5.
SOLD PF....N-square thumbrest target stocks. Have "Fitz" written in the bottom of the right panel. Hairline crack in the top left panel that would easily glue. I didn't notice it until I took the pics today. $35
6. Keyes Fiber WWII 1911A1 stocks. Excellent condition. $30
7. Fully checkered Colt 1911A1 stocks. Used during the mid 1920s until about 1930, and then afterwards wherever they found themselves on a military gun. Very good, solid condition with honest wear, particularly toward the bottom of each panel. Tough stocks to find. $50
8. Fully checkered Python stocks for an early Python. Good, solid condition, but obviously not for a pristine gun. They mate well - the gaps between the panels are from how they are sitting in the pictures, not because the panels are warped. $365 ppd.
