Sold-A Heiser model 715 floral carved holster with cream colored rawhide edge lacing. Inked on the back "44 S&W 6 1/2". This is an early post-war made holster as evidenced by the plain brown enamel snaps. Excellent original condition, snaps are strong as is the safety strap, sewn in sight protector, snap-off belt feature, no cracks or tears, rawhide whip stitching is tight, leather is stiff. Shown with two revolvers- a model 29 with target stocks and a 6 1/2" model 27 with Magnas. My guess would be that this holster was made for a .44 Model 1950 Target or like revolver, typically the maker would have etched or inked 44 Mag if it was made for that revolver. It will obviously fit a number of N frame 6" and 6 1/2" target sighted revolvers, I slipped a pre-war Outdoorsman in it and it fit as well.
This is a duplicate for me, otherwise it would not see the light of day and would be back in the stacks. Please ask any questions you'd like although questions don't hold the holster. As with anything I sell, you may inspect and return and I will refund your payment, I ask that you pay return shipping. First posted "I'll take it" gets it, I'll follow up with a private message. Checks or money orders are both fine, $200 includes USPS Priority shipping.Sold.
