I have two Pre-model 29, 44 Magnum presentation cases for sale. One is for a pre-June gun S165702 (because of the flat head screws on the latch) and the other is for S130980, a gun that shipped on July 13, 1956 (contacted the original owner and he did not want to buy the case).
Both cases are in fair condition with obvious signs of wear to the outside and worn interiors with rips in the fabric where the hammer tore the fabric. The S165 case had some type of adhesive on the top that left a blemish when removed. Latches and hardware are all functional. Linings appears to be original and have the wood blocks under the bottom liner.
Price is $1,050 shipped per case. Each case will be well packaged and shipped via FedEx or UPS with insurance and tracking.
