THE PROGRAM FOR THIS SITE WILL ONLY ALLOW ME TO POST 5 PHOTOS AT A TIME IN A POST, SO I WILL HAVE TO WAIT THE REQUIRED 24 HOURS TIME TO POST MORE IN OTHER POSTS IN THIS THREAD.

*I'm clearing out my 60 year collection of various militaria, firearm accessories and parts, and other historical artifacts and collectibles.
*I will regularly be posting new stuff as I go through the boxes of stuff I have stashed away, and I'm only allowed to make one post with 5 photos per day in this thread, so please check back often as it will take me several weeks to get everything listed.
*U.S. Postal Money order is preferred, but check or other money orders work fine too.
*I am NOT able to take PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or other on-line electronic payment methods.
*First definite and unconditional "I'll take it" posted here AND sent to my EMAIL at vonweigert(at)earthlink.net gets the item.
*PLEASE PUT IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE EMAIL THE ITEM OR ITEMS IT IS REGARDING AS THIS MAKES IT EASIER FOR ME TO KEEP TRACK OF WHICH ITEMS ARE SOLD AND TO WHO.
*I'm selling these items to raise funds for the dog rescue we run, so I'm not really interested in any trades at this time.
*Shipping will be in the most appropriate size USPS Priority Mail flat-rate box (small $10.65, medium $19.15, large $26.30) or the $10.85 Priority Mail padded envelope for items that fit in these, or USPS First Class or "Small Package" Ground Advantage (formerly parcel post) shipping that starts around $5 for very small and light items.
*Longer items that don't fit in a Priority Mail flat-rate box, I will have to take to FedEx and the Post Office to determine exact shipping cost - FedEx price is probably better than US Post Office.
*I live way out in the country, and am disabled and don't drive, so I get a ride into town about once a week with my daughter to mail things off, or to get shipping prices on items that don't fit in a flat-rate box. I'm old and slow, but I'm honest.

*PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT - I LIVE IN SAGE, A SMALL AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY WAY OUT IN THE COUNTRY AND MY MAIL IS DELIVERED TO A LOCKING RURAL MAILBOX BANK DOWN THE ROAD FROM ME. ANYTHING WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED TO ME, AND WILL INSTEAD BE SENT TO THE MAIN POST OFFICE IN HEMET, A CITY VERY FAR FROM ME THAT I NEVER GO TO.

2 WW1 two-tone magazines. American Pin A marked $65each + shipping. (SOLD PENDING FUNDS)
They are marked A for American Pin. One has a slightly shorter lip on the front, I believe this identifies it as Remington UMC. All are in good condition with no damage like cracks to the feed lips. $65 each + shipping. (SOLD PENDING FUNDS).

CHIP McCORMICK "SHOOTING STAR" MARKED $10 + SHIPPING
The blued one at far right in the bottom row is Chip McCormick "Shooting Star" $10 + shipping

ORIGINAL 1952 MANUAL FOR M1 CARBINE WITH 1957 SUPPLEMENT $20 + SHIPPING.

$45 + shipping. (SOLD PENDING FUNDS)

8 ORIGINAL U.S. M1 CARBINE STRIPPER CLIPS FOR LOADING CARBINE MAGAZINES $8 + SHIPPING
These don't have a flat spring in the back or a spring steel back like a lot of stripper clips, so are best used as a display item in a collection of carbine accessories. $8 + shipping for all 8

ASSORTMENT OF M1 CARBINE TRIGGER HOUSING PARTS $25 + SHIPPING.
2 hammer pins, 1 trigger and sear pin, hammer spring, M2 mag catch, front sight key and pin, trigger spring, mag catch and safety springs. These are handy spare parts to have on hand if you are into M1 carbines. I sold my last carbine, so don't need them anymore. $25 + shipping for everything.

ORIGINAL U.S. M1 CARBINE FLASH HIDER. $60 + SHIPPING (SOLD PENDING FUNDS).
Excellent original condition. This is genuine U.S. military issue, made at Springfield Armory and marked HIDER-FLASH-M3-SA, not one of the later Spanish ones made for European nations using the M1 carbine. $60 + shipping. (SOLD PENDING FUNDS)

ORIGINAL U.S. MILITARY ISSUE M1 CARBINE 30 ROUND MAGAZINE $50 + SHIPPING. (SOLD PENDING FUNDS).
Nice original U.S. military WW2 issue magazine, marked "J" on the back, military Parkerized finish. This is not one of the cheap and problematic aftermarket or Korean made mags. $50 + shipping. (SOLD PENDING FUNDS)

NICE ORIGINAL KOREAN WAR ERA U.S. MILITARY ISSUE M1 CARBINE SLING. $30 + SHIPPING.*
Excellent, near mint, condition. It has the blackened brass caps on the ends and the rectangular blackened brass slider buckle, with "Lift The Dot" fastener snap at front end. Olive drab green, no markings. $30 + shipping.

WW2 CANVAS MUZZLE COVER FOR M1 GARAND, M1 CARBINE AND 1903/03A3 SPRINGFIELD RIFLES $10 + SHIPPING
Nice unissued original. Marked U.S. VICTORY MFG. INC. 1944 $10 + SHIPPING

2 WW2 WHITE COTTON DRESS/PARADE SLINGS FOR U.S. M1903 SERIES, M1 GARAND, AND M1917 RIFLES. $15 each + shipping
These are the early cotton slings, not the later nylon ones, that have the early WW2 style hardware.
$15 each + shipping (MIDDLE SLING IS SOLD, OTHER 2 ARE STILL AVAILABLE) Or both for $25 + shipping.

U.S. WW2 OD COTTON WEB SLING FOR M1 GARAND, 1903 SERIES SPRINGFIELDS, M1917 U.S. ENFIELD $10 + SHIPPING
It has some worn and slightly frayed areas along the edges, as shown in the photos. It would make an o.k. display sling, but I wouldn't use it on a rifle that was going to be carried and shot $10 + shipping

ORIGINAL MINT, UNISSUED, US WW2 ARMY AIR FORCES SHOULDER PATCH. $10 + SHIPPING.
I was going to have this sewn on my 1980's US Air Force reissue of the WW2 A2 flight jacket but never got around to it. This is the same patch on the A2 flight jacket Bob Crane wore as Col. Hogan on the "Hogan's Heroes" television show of the 1960's. It's a nice patch to sew on a leather flight jacket, or display with a collection of WW2 militaria. In the first photo, taken with flash, the color is washed out by the flash - it's actually a deeper blue background with deeper red circle in the star, as shown in second photo which was taken without flash. $10 + shipping.

VINTAGE BLACK LEATHER POLICE STYLE HOLSTER FOR REVOLVERS LIKE S&W MODEL 10 AND COLT POLICE SPECIAL. $10 + SHIPPING.
Nice vintage holster with retaining spring. Has bullet loops on upper part to hold 6 rounds. Maked " JAY-PEE SPRING LOCK TRADE MARK SAFETY HOLSTER" on the back. $10 + shipping

VINTAGE "HUNTER" BRAND HOLSTER FOR LONG BARRELED .22 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS $15 + SHIPPING,
I got this one over 40 years ago for a couple long barreled .22 single action revolvers I had. One was the Colt .22 "Buntline" and the other was a Hi Standard - like the one Charles Manson had. I seem to recall that my 1851 Navy Colts fit in it also, but not sure any more. I had a replica "Confederate Colt" that was basically an 1851 Navy but in .44 caliber, and the cylinder was too big to fit in this holster, as is also the case with my genuine Colt Single Action Army .45 Buntline. Hunter brand holsters are known for their high quality American leather...none of that urine-tanned junk from Asia. $15 + shipping.

U.S. WW1 TRENCH PERISCOPE WITH ORIGINAL CARRYING CASE $200 + SHIPPING.
U.S. Model 1918 Trench Periscope, made by Wollensak, with original leather carrying case. Scope is in nice functional condition, no damage to lenses. The closing strap on the case is damaged as shown in the photo, and the stitching is a little loose at the upper left corner on the front, again as shown. Otherwise a nice unit that displays well and would go good in a WW1 collection. $200 + shipping.

Vietnam War era Airborne "6th Jump" paratrooper helmet $150 + shipping
Rare and collectible original Vietnam War era Airborne "6th Jump" paratrooper's helmet.
Here is a brief discussion of the significance of this helmet on another site (AK FILES) that I am a member of, with other members here who were paratroopers.
Matt: "You make 5 training jumps in jump school. Your 6th is the first with your unit usually. We wear maroon berets so we call the new guys cherries. I had to make my 6th jump with a cherry pie in my cargo pocket. There is a pretty good PVT. Murphy comic strip that explains it pretty well. Haha, I guess it is what's called hazing nowadays. That helmet was probably used to hassle new guys and just generally break them in. Not gonna lie, I have not seen a helmet like that before. Have any pictures? I'd like to see it. P.S. The cherry 2nd lieutenants are the best."
I will provide links to more discussion of these helmets here when I get the time to do a search of my posts at AK FILES.

U.S. MILITARY MANUALS FOR M1 GARAND SNIPER RIFLES AND GRENADES AND PYROTECHNICS $10 EACH + SHIPPING
These are original U.S. government printed manuals, not the reproductions being put out by various commercial publishers. I picked these up back in the very early 1980's to go with my collections of sniper rifles and related items, and grenades and related items.
TM 9-1005-222-35 COVERS M1, M1C, AND M1D RIFLES. JUNE 1969 $10 + SHIPPING
FM 23-30 GRENADES AND PYROTECHNIC SIGNALS. DECEMBER 1969. EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HAND, RIFLE, SMOKE, AND SIGNAL GRENADES. $10 + SHIPPING

US WEB GEAR; PISTOL BELTS, CANTEENS WITH COVERS.

WW2 USMC PISTOL BELT WITH EGA, CANTEEN WITH COVER, AND FIRST AID KIT POUCH $60 + SHIPPING
This belonged to a friend of the family, Wilbert "Bill" Jaeger who was in the Marine Corps and fought in the South Pacific through WW2, and was then stationed in Japan after the war ended. He had all his gear and various souvenirs he had picked up along the way and in Japan in his foot locker, and back in the mid 1970's, knowing my interest in collecting military artifacts, gave me this belt/canteen/pouch setup, a brass ashtray made from the base of a large artillery shell decorated with coins from the various allied Commonwealth forces that fought in the South Pacific and bent coins for the cigarette rests, and a little tanto type knife with carved and decorated bone handle and sheath. My ex stole the ashtray and the knife back in the early 90's when we broke up but didn't get this web gear.

All items are early 1940's dated (canteen cover is 1942), and the canteen is wrapped in a WW2 GI wool sock - the sock and canteen cover would be soaked in water to help keep the water in the canteen a little cooler by evaporation in the tropical island heat. I do not know the purpose of the black ink markings on the back of the canteen cover. Bill's other cool little personalizing touch addition to this setup back in WW2 was adding the bronze Marine Corp Eagle/Globe/Anchor emblem to the pistol belt. $60 + SHIPPING

Nice very early WW2 pistol belt, I believe this is called the M1938 pattern belt. $25 + shipping.
With the early brass buckle setup instead of the more common later steel, and the snap for the M1 carbine or .45 Auto pistol magazines. $25 + shipping

MORE PISTOL BELTS:

TOP: Nice later WW2 belt with the steel buckle setup and sliding clips for the hook end of belt. $20 + shipping
There is a crack in the bottom of the "female" side of the buckle, as shown in the photos. It doesn't affect how the belt displays and really isn't noticeable, but I have another WW2 one of this buckle side that I will include with the belt. $20 + shipping.
MIDDLE: Faded, "salty" looking WW2 pistol belt. $10 + shipping.
It is basically the same belt as the one above it, but very sun faded. Otherwise in good usable condition. It could be restored to original OD color with some fabric dye, or bleached white like a dress/parade or MP/Shore Patrol pistol belt, should someone wish to do so. $10+ shipping.
BOTTOM: KOREAN WAR TO EARLY VIETNAM WAR ERA, I BELIEVE $15 + SHIPPING.
This type did away with the snap on one side for the carbine or pistol magazine pouch, which allowed the belt to be adjusted from both ends. The mag pouches used on these have the sewn-on belt loops. $15 + shipping.

LATER STYLE PISTOL BELT WITH CLAMP-DOWN ADJUSTERS INSTEAD OF THE EARLIER HOOKS. $10 + SHIPPING.
This type used clamp-down adjusters instead of the earlier hooks, which allow for more exact fitting, and don't have the ends of the hooks sticking out to catch on things as they occasionally did. Since the hooks were eliminated, so were the unnecessary middle row of holes with metal grommets for the hooks. $10 + SHIPPING

KOREAN WAR TO EARLY VIETNAM WAR ERA , I THINK. $5 + SHIPPING.
It has a couple frayed areas and a hole, as show in the photos. Other than that, it's the same as the one listed further above.
It still works fine as a beater grade belt that you wouldn't have to worry about damaging, and the nice brass buckle setup and sliding holder clips could be used on a belt needing them. $5 + shipping.

WW1 CANTEENS, BOTH 1918 DATED.
LEFT: 1918 DATED CANTEEN WITH ORIGINAL WW1 METAL CAP AND COVER $25 + SHIPPING.
RIGHT: 1918 DATED CANTEEN USED IN WW2, WITH WW2 REPLACED PLASTIC (BAKELITE?) CAP AND 1945 DATED WW2 COVER $20 + SHIPPING.

KOREAN WAR ERA TO EARLY VIETAM ERA ? PISTOL BELT WITH VN WAR ERA CANTEEN AND M1956 COVER. $20 + SHIPPING
Belt is the same type as described in a couple posts above. M1956 Cover with 1976 dated canteen. I have no idea what the "Gunboat Accolade" stencil painted marking means, maybe something to do with the 1990 video game "Gunboat" released by a company called Accolade? This belt, canteen, and cover set was together like this when I picked it up back in the early 1990s' $ 20 + shipping.

1960'S - EARLY 80'S PERIOD "MADE IN TAIWAN" PISTOL BELT AND CANTEEN. $5 + SHIPPING.
These date to the period when items like this were still being imported from Taiwan and Japan, instead of Communist Red China like everything you buy now a days. Belt and canteen are basically copies of U.S. WW2 items but much thinner and lighter construction, and canteen, which has a big dent on the front side, is thin aluminum instead of steel like the WW2 military ones. The cap on the canteen is an original US WW2 black plastic (Bakelite?) item, that would make a good replacement for someone with a nice Ww1 or WW2 canteen with a missing or damaged cap. $5 + shipping

EXTRACTOR FOR U.S. 1903 SERIES SPRINGFIELD RIFLES. $10 + SHIPPING
Again, always a good idea to have a spare of this part.
$10 + shipping.
