WTS Reloading Stuff
I sold my rifle, so some .223 stuff has got to go.
1. (SPF) 1000 CCI 41 primers, approx. 400 55gr WW JSP bullets, and 1000+ mixed brass. Forget the primers, unless you're in the Keys for vacation. I'll ship the brass and bullets for $45. PRIMERS SPF locally. Wish I could have gotten them to somebody on the forum who needs them, but it didn't work out.
2. (SPF) .223 setup ready to go on your Hornady LnL AP. Lee 3-die set, new style (fits all) shellplate, quick change powder die, LnL bushing for each piece. This would be about $90 plus shipping from Midway. $50 shipped.
3. (SPF) I also have 3 old-style LnL AP shellplates. #1 (45acp and rifle calibers), #29 (41mag) and #32 (45 Colt). I'll ship all three for $25.

Just in case - you do realize that you cannot ship primers unless you have a Hazmat license, right?

Sorry, Carver. I'm a long way from there. I'm gonna pull the primer offer, just to avoid hassles from the PC Police.

I'll take number #2.
The .223 dies and accessories.
Tell me where to send the money.

You got it, Andy. PM on the way. Match 223, I'm sorry but apparently I need a license to ship primers. Ammo loaded with primers is OK, but the primers themselves aren't. Gotta love our government regulators.

Its not as silly as it seems...
Primers when in bulk can detonate "sympathicaly" (sp). Meaning if one primer were to go off the rest would go boom as a result. Thats why the factory boxes of primers are made they way they are to help prevent that. Primers are classified as explosives for that reason.
When the primers are seat in cases or rounds they dont detonate so easily, more space between and other reasons. Thats why ammo is shipped as Other Regulated Material- Domestic
I dont really think the laws fit with something like primers (the laws fully apply, this is an editorial). As the laws say you must be trained in packing them and use tested packaging. I would think that this falls under the company that made the primers. They come nicely packed, in what we would *think* is a tested suitable container. In fact the primer companies put the sleeve boxes into a master carton with out any other packaging. I suppose that the laws are written to meet general explosives and not something like primers by themselves.
Final thought, dont ship primers, you can get into a lot of trouble...

In South Florida
Ahoy,
I'm in South Florida, Boca Raton, and several members of my club that shoot in Ft Lauderdale are in need of the primers. I'm sure we can find a grateful user. What do you have in mind? PM if you like.
